This site gives real time access to the London St. Thomas Real Estate board (LSTREB) database.

When agents list properties, the listings are faxed to the board and the staff at the board office enter the information into the LSTREB computer system. Once entered it becomes live to agents who are members of the LSTEB through a database management program called Filogix. The new listings are sent to MLS.ca but can potentially take up to 3 days before they will be active listings on MLS.ca. You must remember that MLS.ca is for all of Canada and is receiving information from all boards in all provinces.

HomesAcrossLondon.com gives you a direct live link to the LSTREB data base. This is the same database the agents use. New listings will come up on this site long before MLS.ca. You can use the Search Listings button for this search. The sub areas on this search engine correspond to a special city map that real estate agents use. You can view this special map by clicking here.

This site also has an “email notification” tool. This is a very powerful piece of software like you may have never seen before. By clicking the flashing email notification button, you will see a map of London divided into three major sections: North(green), East(yellow), and South(purple). You can zoom in and out by clicking on this map. Choose the areas you are interested in on the corresponding colour coated check list below the map. Next fill in your name, email address and other search criteria. Don’t forget to hit the “Send Information” button. A private, personal website will be created for you that you can access anywhere in the world. This personal site will have all the current active listings that meet your specified criteria. You will be notified when a new listing hits the system. This is a real time email notification. Which means the more often you check you emails; the more likely you will be the first to know about new listings. You can delete listings you do not have interest in. This email notification will expire after 99 days, but you can always cancel at any time.
